Editors’ letter

Dear Readers,

Having just “sort of” retired, I’m slowly

getting used to the fact that every day is an

adventure. However I now have a very long

list of household DIY jobs, therefore, like so

many say about retirement I think I am

going to be busier now than when I was

gainfully employed. But maybe I can take

each day at my own pace now.

I had a frightening car accident last year at

a well know local accident black spot or

“cluster” as they’re now referred as.

Thankfully something is Dnally being done

to address this problem, It will mean some

delays and road closures, but read all about

that on page 56.

The Carnival report is our centre spread and

we will let you know about the money

raised for local causes later this year.

Autumn on page 8.
